Kahiga Under Siege For Celebrating Raila’s Death

Nyeri Governor is a man under public condemnation following his uncalled butterances after the state funeral accirded to the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

UPDATE: The Council of Governors has convened a crisis meeting to deliberate on Kahiga’s celebratory remarks on Raila’s death amid calls for his ouster.

CoG expresses deep disappointment, describing Kahiga’s comments as reckless, insensitive, and unbecoming of a leader of his stature.

The council criticises Kahiga for politicising Raila’s death and using insensitive language that, according to the statement, “celebrates the loss of a national hero.”
