A 75-year-old woman, Ruth Wambui Kimani, accused of defrauding businesswoman Agnes Kagure Kariuki of a parcel of land valued at KSH 200 million, has been freed on a one million shilling bond with an alternative cash bail of KSH 100,000.
Chief Magistrate Rose Ndombi ruled that Ruth Wambui Kimani’s application for lenient terms was justified.

She is accused of forging a national identification document under the name Francis Kimani Mungai and claiming it to be authentic.
According to the prosecutor, Wambui faces two charges: conspiracy to defraud and making a false document.
The case mention will be on December 8.
