University lecturers have given the state a two weeks ultimatum to fulfill their return to work formula failure to which they will strike.
The lecturers are blaming the government for failing to pay them their December salaries and arrears. Speaking on Wednesday, the lecturers said they have given the government to pay them latest by January 15.
Via their union leader, lecturers faulted the William Ruto government for not honouring the 2021-2025 Collective Bargaining Agreement .
Late last year the university lecturers were on strike for about 3 weeks before signing a return to work formula.
