Slain Kasipul Member of Parliament Charles Ong’ndo Were son is now actively seeking to continue with his father’s legacy.
Boyd Were has sympathized with Kasipul voters assuring them that he is more than willing to continue championing the developments that his father had begun making sure there is no gap left.
Via his social media, Byod said in order to continue to push the agenda that his father had set for the Kasipul residents, he will need their full support.
“His vision for a better Kasipul remains alive in me, and I am committed to seeing every project he initiated completed,” Byod Were said.
Byod in his post said that his father mentored many youths from Kasipul as well as educating countless students.He vowed to continue the support backed up with the Kasipul constituents until his father’s dream becomes a reality.
“The Milele na Milele narrative will not end. The students my father sponsored will continue their education without interruption. To the widows he supported, I stand as your elder son, ready to continue that care,” read part of the Byod post.
Byod Were won’t be the first kid to succeed his kin in active politics. The current Makueni Governor Mutual Kilonzo Jr became a senator for Makueni after his dad passed away.
