Mary Chebukati, wife of the late IEBC Chairperson Wafula Chebukati has begged social media has pleaded with social media to give them a space after the loss of their beloved one. Mary revealed that there were serious concerns over the health status of Chebukati after several rumours online about his demise.
Speaking during the burial ceremony of her husband , the mother of three claimed her family had faced a hard time when Chebukati was alive especially during his last days.
“Social media killed my husband, Wafula Chebukati, so many times. Now that he has rested, I hope they will give us some peace; it has been so difficult,” Mary Chebukati said.
