Children Aged Five And Below Face Greatest Threat As Hunger In Samburu Persists

Children aged five and below are the most affected by hunger caused by the persistent drought in parts of samburu county.

Samburu North MP Hon. Lessuda, Josephine Naisula has now called on the national government to distribute water and relief food as well as also launch a cash transfer programme  as soon as possible to cushion those affected. The MP further wants the government to buy livestock from the residents there to protect the victims from further losses.
