Sauti Sol has been a dominant group in Kenya for the longest time now. However, what many may not know, apart from being highschool friends for the longest time, financial discipline also has played a critical role in keeping the group intact.
Sauti Sol’s member Savara speaking during an interview with Clouds Media of Tanzania revealed that his education background in finance helped the group in a big way. Adding that he was useful in creating the group’s bank account and putting in key measures in matters money.
The singer said as Sauti Sol, every member has a monthly salary by the end of the day.
”Every member of Sauti Sol has a monthly salary and an annual bonus at the end of the year to help them enjoy with their friends and families,” Savara said.
Savara shared that the extra money they always get after their Sauti Sol shows or gigs doesn’t lie idle in the bank but it is invested into useful projects.
“We’ve bought a lot of land and bought some buildings.”
In his words,Savara claims Sauti Sol is still a solid group because they are not only doing music together but,they are handling a lot of businesses together.
