Court Orders Alcoholic to Return to Parents’ Home

‎A judge has ordered six youths to return to their parents’ homes following a court hearing. The ruling came after one youth’s mother, who was present during the session, pleaded with the judge to send her son back home.

‎Austin’s mother told the court that her son has proven he cannot live independently, as he struggles with alcoholism and has refused to seek help or reform his behavior.

‎Austin’s attempts to apologize to his family fell on deaf ears, as his mother was unwilling to accept his promises.

‎”I promise to change my lifestyle and habits,” Austin told the court.

‎In her statement, the mother said it was tragic that someone had lost their life due to the poor choices made by Austin and his friends. On those grounds, she refused to allow Austin to live alone.

‎She went on to tell the court that she had exhausted all options trying to help Austin, including sending him to a six-month rehabilitation program.

‎”Unless a miracle happens, I cannot believe anything Austin says about changing. Austin, you are not staying alone again.”
