Comedian Erick Omondi has decided to take a formal route in his anticipated change in the music industry. He is pushing for all media stations to play more Kenyan content. Last week he had held a demonstration outside parliament buildings. The aftermath saw him arrested and released on cash bail.
Hon. Charles Kanyi Jagua alia Jaguar confirmed receiving Erick Omondi petition. The Starehe MP who is also a renown singer,promised to follow due process and table the petition.
Erick Omondi petition which represents local artistes, wants to urge all broadcasters to play 75% of local content in their line-ups.
