Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua blames President William Ruto and Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen for the destruction of property during the anniversary of the Gen Z protest.
Speaking exclusively with NTV on Friday 27,2025 ,the former DP alleged that Ruto schemed the plot since the looting of property was done under the watch of police officers.
“It was a plot that was hatched by William Ruto and Kipchumba Murkomen to cause havoc.”
The DCP party leader alludes that there is no way some random unarmed people can walk into a police station and torch it down.
Gachagua says the government is responsible for destroying people’s property so that they can blame mount Kenya leaders who aren’t allied to the president. Adding that this is the same narrative that Ruto used to make Kikuyu’s hate former president Uhuru Kenyatta.
“This thing was staged by the Kenya Kwanza leadership hoping that people from mount Kenya can believe their popular leaders are their real enemies.”
