Harambee Stars Draw With Angola

The Kenya Harambee Star team has drawn with Angola in their second match in the Chan tournament . Harambee stars kept up a spirited fight against Angola after their player was shown a red card at the minute.

The match that saw more than 45,000 people attend the Moi Sports Center Kasarani Staduim

So far,Harambee Stars who have bagged four points only need one win to be safe in their group A group.

Harambee Stars Coach Ben McCarthy: That was the toughest match I’ve ever faced as a coach. To be honest, I’m exhausted,I can’t wait to go and rest. When you go a man less and a goal down just after 15 minutes, you have to think about how to manage the whole match.

Angola National Team Head Coach Pedro Goncalves: It was a very good party, full stadium capacity. There were very many people, almost 99%. It’s good to support African football.

The draw against Angola means each player of Harambee Stars will receive a half a million shillings as promised by President William Ruto.
