Kenya team Harambee Stars might be walking out of the chan competition a billion richer if they claim victory in the tournament .
Former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has pledged to contribute KSH 400 million should Harambee Stars win the CHAN Cup.
This brings the total potential reward to KSh 1 billion after adding what the players were promised earlier.
Previously , President William Ruto had promised Harambee Stars a whooping KSH 600 Million if they emerge winners of the tournament.
So far each Harambee Star player is set to receive a million shillings from President William Ruto after winning their first match against the Democratic Republic of Congo.
