A medical intern has taken her own life after being emotionally drained with insane work pressure coupled up with economic hardship.

The lifeless body of Moraa was found hanging from her apartment balcony on Monday.

Moraa’s colleague C’llin Harry shared the devastating conditions that Moraa was going through before taking her own life.

Harry via his Facebook account said Moraa  was overwhelmed with the long shifts at Gatundu Level 5 Hospital where she was posted for her internship.

“One of my colleagues Dr. Moraa hanged herself on her balcony last night.”

He revealed that The Egerton University alumnus  had not taken any food for the past 12 hours before her death.

Harry said,”She cited frustrations from her consultants to do rounds and continuous 12-hour shifts that end up in 36 hours.”

With extra pressure from her landlord over unpaid rent, she unfortunately took her own life.

“She also hadn’t paid rent for this month and the landlord was on her neck,” revealed Harry.
