Government spokesperson Issac Mwaura and nominated Senator Karen Nyamu momentarily faced an embarrassment during the 2024 CHAN tournament at Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi.
The two notable leaders were denied entry into the stadia via the Presidential Entrance. These incidents raise eyebrows online with netizens airing their decided opinions.
Though the government spokesperson walked out feeling embarrassed , that was not the case for Karen Nyamu. As expected there was a bit of drama and exchange of words between her team and the security.
Mwaura and Nyamu arrived late at the event for reasons better known to themselves but at that time, President William Ruto was already in the stadium. So probably they were denied entry via the Presidential Entrance because of security issues or also event protocol.
The big question remains , was their team prepared enough for this event?
