A 26-year-old lady, Wendy Mbeke Muli was arrested by Anti-narcotics officers at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport while attempting to smughle cocaine on June 13, 2025,
The officers at the JKIA subjected Wendy to further security screening after they noticed her suspicious behaviour during a routine screening.
The search later showed that she had ingested illegal substances and was concealing them.
Wendy had a total of 8 pellets that contained approximately 636.65 grams of cocaine. She is in custody awaiting arraignment in court on Monday, 16th June, 2025.
