Mwinyi Kazungu Nyawa simply know as Mtetezi Mwinyi Kazungu has won the ANC party ticket . He will now use the ticket while seeking to represent the people of Mwavumbo Ward.
The self spoken Kazungu was eleted after being presented with the certificate. A move that assured his candidature in the ballot come August 9th during the general elections.

Mwinyi Kazungu has been behind the mic on KBC Radio Taifa for the past 14 years. He has been championing for the music industry in Kenya. Via his show, Top Mashariki, he was able to achieve more in promoting artists. His show was mainly for the youth and he was always updating his loyal fans about the showbiz industry and their favorite celebrities.
While still under KBC, Mtetezi used his influence to fight drug abuse in his home county, Kwale. This was via his annual event of Mdune festival.
Since quiting radio on Feb 8, Kazungu embarked on a door to door campaign back in Mwavumbo Ward. He has transversed his area of interest and helping youths, women groups and the vulnerable.
