Nigerian passenger causes commotion at Kenyan airport

‎A Nigerian Lady, Gloria Ibukun Omisore is on the spot after allegedly throwing three used sanitary pads to an agent at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi, Kenya.

‎The furious lady who was en route to Manchester, complained of being kept at the airport for hours in a video that is now viral on social media.

‎JKIA issued an official statement stating that the lady was offered an alternative route which she rejected.

‎The airport official says despite not knowing the exact context of the whole incident, the Nigerian was missing necessary documents required to travel to her destination.

‎“The guest was traveling from Lagos to Nairobi, Paris, and Manchester. On arrival in Nairobi for her connecting flight (Nairobi-Paris), it was discovered that she did not have a SCHENGEN Visa, which is a requirement for her to enter any European Union Country,” read part of the JKIA statement.

‎Omisore plea to be offered accomodation was rejected and she vowed to throw the sanitary pads to the agent. In their statement, JKIA has condemned the incident and revealed that investigation over the incident has commenced after the case was reported to relevant authorities.

‎The lady has been however flown back to her state in Nigeria.

‎“Given the circumstances, we have agreed to rebook the guest on the next available flight back to Lagos (LOS), Nigeria.“
