Orange Democratic Party (ODM) Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has said the party via its party Leader Raila Odinga is working with President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government to help stabilize it.
Speaking during a press meeting after the party holding crisis meeting, the SG said the party’s position was in agreement for Odinga to work with Ruto.
“The party supports the position of the party leader Hon. Raila Odinga to work with Kenya Kwanza administration to stabilize the country and create an enabling environment for Kenyans to address their concerns through a democratic and constitutional means.”
Additionally, the party said it will push for the implementation of the NADCO report and the UDA-ODM 10-point Memorandum of Understanding.
Sifuna stated that the party will also push for the intergenerational national conclave for deliberations on the youth agenda.
The Nairobi Senator reveal that despite members of the Central Committee having started the meeting with divergent views ,they ended the meeting having reached a common ground to rally behind the broad-based government.
