Philip Aroko Acquitted In Ong’ondo Were Murder Case

Politician and businessman Philip Aroko who was a suspect in the murder of Kasipul Member Of Parliament Charles Ong’ondo Were has been aquitted

Appearing before magistrate on June 26,2025,the court found insufficient evidence that links him to the slain MP. He will however, be a state witness in the murder case.

The ruling will see Aroko previous restrictions of  travel and contact lifted.

Aroko was detained in may as a person of interest in the case and was later released on KSH 300,000 bail on

He is eying to fill the Kasipul seat that is vacant.
