Early today police raided the Kisii deputy governor’s rural home. This is after they alleged that they had been tipped about Joash Maangi being in possession of ballot papers.
During a press briefing, the deputy governor with other UDA aspirants condemned the incident. Firmly warning not to be bowed with police brutality and intimidation. Mr. Maangi revealed that 15 police raided his home demanding to conduct a search minus a valid search warrant. The outgoing deputy governor was not at his home during the incident.
