The former Prime Minister of Kenya the Right Honorable Raila Amollo Odinga was on October 19,2025 laid to rest in Bondo County bringing an end to his flourishing political career.
Odinga who is the son of the first Vice President of Kenya Jaramogi Oginga Odinga was given a befitting sendoff burial that befits his stature with thousands of mourners flocking attending his last journey on earth.
Though he was a notable figure in the political scene in Kenya, his burial was conducted in an extraordinary manner that a common citizen would ever imagine.
Following his demise in India, something was not right back in Kenya. The weather was chilly and very cold. It was an unusual occurrence since the weather suddenly became warm after the news of his demise was all over.
This news immediately sent Kenya into a mourning period. President Dr. William Ruto addressed the nation and made a number of proclamations from the State House.
