Raila Odinga rejected in Kisii County

Orange Democratic Movement Party Leader Raila Odinga faced hostility in Kisii County days after signing an agreement with President William Ruto.

Odinga was in Gusii Stadium during the launch of Shabana Football Club’s official kit launch. Rowdy youths chatted “Raila Must Go” when the opposition leader took to the pondium to make his speech.

Some of the attendees of the occasion walked out citing “betrayal” from Raila whose effort to contain them was futile.

This is the first public humiliation that Raila is facing from a region that has always supported him.

Before making his latest political move of agreeing to work with William Ruto, Odinga had made a consultation meeting with his supporters including those from Kisii County.
