Energy and Petroleum Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi has defended the Kenya Kanza government while pointing a finger at those criticizing it branding them jealous after the entry of ’Luos’ to the government.
The CS says these critics are fueled with President William Ruto’s appointment of top opposition members to key posting in his broad based government cabinet model.
“When Luos are in government, it is bad, but when they are in the streets, it is good. We can’t allow that,” Wandayi said.
Opiyo has called out independent institutions like the church and Non Governmental organizations for taking a strong stand against William Ruto after the impeachment of Rigathi Gachagua.
