Tanzanian gospel singer Christina Shusho has made public the nature of her relationship with secular singer Diamond Platnumz. Speaking during an interview with Mzazi Willy M Tuva, Shusho said she is very close to WCB Wasafi’s boss.
The singer added that she is close to many artists across the music industry. However, coming from the same town in Kigoma makes her friendship with Diamond tight. She says they can talk at any given time about anything.
In case you are wondering, it’s impossible for Christina Shusho and Diamond Platnumz to work together on a song. Shusho has been brought up in a church setting all her life. She is a staunch Christian whose faith in God is immense. On the other side, Diamond Platnumz is a Muslim whose rise to fame is credited to his catchy secular music.
“Unless one is saved, doing a song with a secular artist is a no-go zone for me,” said Shusho.
In Kenya, Shusho appreciates Nyashinki art. However, to do a song with the ‘Mailka’ hitmaker, the idea has to be subjected to church elders for approval.
Shusho doesn’t charge to work with her.
