Pretty Pety Nila raised in Kenya, embraced in Tanzania and now living in Germany.

Fast raising lass Pety Nila is a multi talented singer who has made a name for herself in a span of short period.

Hailing from Kitui County, young Nila kick started her career in primary school. She was constantly performing and singing whenever an opportunity presented itself. This made her standout from the rest of the pupils.

Though she comes from a family with no music background, her amazing singing skills in Sunday School opened doors for her. She would land gigs in her community something that boosted her passion. Upon completion of her studies, she came to Nairobi as a house manager in 2015.

Petty Nila launched her career officially in 2019 by dropping a summer tune dubbed, Holiday. Since then she has dropped many good songs in different genres. As a versatile singer, her catalog comprises classic italian love tunes, spiritual songs, opera arias and some pop definitely.

The soft spoken singer has created a strong network with Tanzania. She has done amazing songs with many artists there including Baddest 47,Paradise Tabasamu, Mr Blue among others.

During one of her many interviews in bongo, Nila revealed working with Rayvanny. She has not yet disclosed more details about the song but it might come as a surprise. Back here, she has a pending project with Masauti. The two were working on a song before she fell sick and the progress was put on hold.

Among the big names that have produced her songs include Vinc Pon Dis, Lizer, Alexis On the Beat, Amz Pro, Lizer Classic, Kimambo Daiz and amongst others.

The mother of four relocated to Germany in 2012. She is however, skeptical about her kids following her footsteps. Being in the industry, she has seen challenges that probably won’t like them to face

“My kids are talented in music and football but I am not sure if I want my kids to take after me,” says Nila.

In Germany,Nila says African is not getting the attention it deserves. She says this is dictated by the audience there. The people there prefer listening to, American , fox or traditional German music. Despite this, there are media stations dedicated to African content.

Pety Nila though has a strong personal charisma,she strongly advocates for equal rights for everyone. She argues no one is superior to the other. Adding that this is the same case that should be in marriage.

The Ado singer encourages upcoming artists not to give up. She echos rapper CMB Prezzo sentiments of doing away cheat public stunts. She advises them to put in the effort and eventually it will pay off. As a person whose career started during the pandemic period, she cautions artists not to concentrate on YouTube numbers and work extra hard.

“I believe those who do those pr stunts are desperate for attention. I believe one should market their art and trend for the right reasons,” encourages Pety Nila.
