Raila Odinga has announced to hold two major rallies in Nairobi. The ODM leader is set to hold the rallies on December 7th and 12th at Kamukunji Grounds,Nairobi. According to Mr.Odinga, the rallies will be used to launch consultations with Kenyan people about the direction the current regime is steering the country to.
This move however, has not been embraced fully with some parties under the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance. The Saturday Nation has reported that the Jubilee Party led by former President Uhuru Kenyatta and KANU led by former Baringo senator Gideon Moi will not be part of the said rallies. The two parties condemn Raila’s idea terming it a selfish move.
Raila ,who came second in the concluded elections, rallies came days after accusing President William Ruto of profiling 4 IEBC commissioners led by Juliana Cherera.
On December 7th, at Kamukunji grounds in Nairobi, we'll launch public consultations with the people of Kenya to brainstorm on the direction the country is taking.
