Kawira Mwangaza Apologizes 70 Times

Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza might have the light of the day to serve the people of Meru. This comes after a Meru court barred her impeachment motion. Justice Wamae Cherere in her ruling said the motion never followed the correct procedure. In that case, it violated her constitutional rights.

A video doing rounds on social media sees Kawira Mwangaza say “sorry ” 70 times. This is to represent the 69 MCA’s and the county assembly speaker. The video was taken in court after Justice Wamae Cherere issued her ruling on the case.Kawira counted one to 70 as his supporters responded with the word,”sorry.”

An impeachment against governor Kawira was tabled at the County Assembly on November 22 by minority leader Dennis Kiogora of Abogeta Ward. 68 MCAs signed the petition while one absconded from the exercise.
