Ruto is still in pain over Adani JKIA deal

‎The cancellation of the Adani contract deal to renovate Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) has not settled well with President William Ruto.

‎Speaking in Taita Taveta, The President said no one should be glorified for pushing the cancellation of the deal.

‎Ruto blamed those who were against the Public Private Partnership deal with Adani for lacking any alternative plan for building the airport.

‎”What gain do you get when you stop the building of an airport in your country?”

‎The Commander in Chief further added that most probably those who were against the renovation of JKIA have never set foot in an airport.

‎Ruto affirmed Kenyans that Kenya will build a new airport using a new framework and people who believe in Kenya.

‎”We may have stopped Adani from building it. I was confident that he was going to build our airport but because if the law that bars us from engaging people who have cases we stopped it,” said Ruto.
