Singer Wahu has given a big shout-out to Sauti Sol. This is in regards to their concluded Sol fest.
Taking to her socials,the mother of two couldn’t hide her joy about the success the boy band had. Terming that the kenyan music is alive only that it is in itsy initial stages. Sauti Sol held a successful sold out Sol fest event at carnivore last Sunday on 12th December. VIP tickets were going for ksh 8000 and were in limited number.
Sol Fest saw performances from Maandy,Wakadinali,Femi One,Chris Kaiga and Sol Generation artistes.
Meanwhile … Thank you Sautisol for proving that Kenyan Music is very much alive!! Let no one cheat you that the industry is dead, it passes different stages with ups and downs and different waves, this is part of industry evolution.. we are evolving as an industry and we are all in the pioneer stage of this Urban Pop industry! Sauti Sol promised to hold Sol Fest on big venues or probably on national stadiums to accommodate everyone.
Konshens who is due to perform on the eve on new year,also showed much respect to the Afrimma Winners.
