Singer Jay Melody has revealed writing some of the many songs that Willy Paul has released.
Speaking exclusively with Mambo Mseto, Jay Melody said his initial song Kivuruge was sung by Nandy after reaching an agreement with Tanzania House of Talent. The success of the song saw him recognized as a song writer and not a singer. That’s how he wrote Njiwa and Hallelujah both done with Willy Paul featuring Nandy.
The Tanzanian raising singer has been contacted by many artists from East Africa to write for them. His biggest client is Nandy.
The Nakupenda now is trending with his latest collaboration dubbed Puuh with Billnass.
Currently Jay Melody is not writing songs for business. He quit the business after not getting the recognition he deserves. Adding that he was getting peanuts as compared to what the song fetched.
