Martha Karua and Rigathi Gachagua meet as coalition debate spark

Nark Kenya Party leader Martha Karua on Saturday hosted the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and his spouse Pastor Dorcas at her home in Gichugu, Kirinyaga county.

Rigathi Gachagua praised Karua saying he will work together and be consulting her frequently.

“We have agreed that going forward we will work together with other like minded leaders.”

Karua said she has joined hands with Gachagua in a journey to help Kenyans. With this new coalition, she is confident that they will easily defeat William Ruto in the next general elections in 2027.

The two leaders hailing from Mount Kenya region who have not been holding the same political ideology have caused a debate online as netizens speculate the possibility of the two forming a political formation.

Gachagua has been holding various meetings at his Wamunyoro home in what is seen as a grassroot strategy before making a political move. He has met both current and former politicians in his home.

On her side,Karua is cleaning her house,after saying she was betrayed by her former Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance coalition leader Raila Odinga decided to join hands and work with President William Ruto.
