Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has issued a statement about his out of office package and running operations of his office.
His Director of communication Kanze Dena has pinpointed a number of issues during a presser today .
Kanze Dena said Uhuru received his 48 million shillings tip , receives monthly pension of 1.6 million shillings and gets a monthly allowance of one Million and his medical cover is taken Care of.
Despite Uhuru Kenyatta being allocated used vehicles , the fuel cards issued by the government were later blocked in March 2023 by statehouse.
This situation has forced Uhuru Kenyatta to fund his office operations from his pocket.
Kanze says her contract is yet to be renewed and staff in the office of the former president are being intimidated via midnight phone calls.
