Aslay Blames Rayvanny Over Yamoto Band Breakup

Aslay said Rayvanny who was the backup singer for the group was the first to leave.

Aslay has revealed the reason that saw the once famous boy band Yamoto to split. The singer has in a recent interview with Clouds Fm says that Rayvanny triggered the band to break.

The kolo singer said when Rayvanny was signed at WCB Wasafi, he was gifted a vehicle and his career soon picked up. This instilled jealousy and greed among the band members who were at the time in Europe for a tour.

The boy band that was made up of four boys, Aslay, Mbosso, Beka and soon started splitting as everyone started doing solo projects.

Aslay said Rayvanny who was the backup singer for the group was the first to leave. Others followed suit. Efforts to unite the band by their manager Mkubwa Fella were futile.
