Kapsert Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has struck back at the United Democratic Alliance party Secretary General Cleopas Malala.
Sudi labeled Malala as an elevated Member of the County Assembly (MCA) suffering from illusory superiority. Adding that the SG was comparing himself with the likes of Raphael Tuju.
In his press release today, Malala singled out a few members of the party who allegedly were going against the party. The SG warned them promising to take disciplinary action against anyone who will violate party rules and regulations again.
The ruling party has witnessed more internal wrangles, especially after speculation of a breakup between President Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua. Gachagua’s missing in the public eye for seven days raised eyebrows from most citizens. His absence to see off his boss for the USA state tour fuelled more speculation
The second in command opted to camp in Uasin Gishu County and when the president jetted back, he was not present to welcome him.
While in Uasin Gishu, Gachagua warned some leaders whose proximity to the president has seen them become egocentric. The attack was seemingly aimed at Oscar Sudi who said he can’t be threatened by anyone.
