Khalif Kairo’s real name Joseph Kairu Wambui, is a man under siege after what is seemingly like everyone is coming after his head. Of late, his image and reputation is tainted as he is constantly in court corridors over allegations of allegedly fraud related cases. Kairo who runs a second hand car imports company, Kai and Karo Limited, has been accused by clients for failing to deliver to his clients despite being paid full amount.
Recently in a dramatic way, Kairo was arrested outside Milimani High Court after finishing appearing for another fraud related case on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. Kairo was in court for his first trial over allegations by his other client over scamming him KSH 2.2 Million promising to deliver a high-end vehicle which he never did.
After his first trial involving the undelivered high-end vehicle , Kairo was arrested outside Milimani Law Courts on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in connection with yet another case of fraud. The complainant Dan Odhiambo Odundo, according to the charge sheet claimed giving Kairo KSH 3,045,000 to assist him import Volkswagen Tiguan 1.4 line from Japan.
Amidst all these circus and negative publicity Khalif Kairo is getting, he still holds on that he is clean and what he is facing right now are normal business challenges.
“We are struggling with vehicle deliveries not because we “stole” money but its a combination of many factors including external sabotage , aggressive growth with limited access to capital,” Kairo posted on his X account.
